Indian summers

Our summers are becoming dangerous with every passing day, gone are the days of your childhood where 35degreed would be peak of the day. It's not even April yet and the temperature is barely going below 30s even at night, and it's not specific to one place, across the India whoever I talk to shares the same experience, And the sad part is it's only going to get worse, more trees will be cut down to build highways and infrastructure to sustain our population and its needs, we still have to pull out 100s of million people out of acute low income level. Global warming will be our biggest challenge in the following decades. What is grapeviners opinion on this?

True. This summer has been the worst till now. I feel tired and drained right after waking up.

so, true... just 20 years back 40'c was a rare event, it happened only on 1 day the entire summer. not just cutting trees, water bodies are getting destroyed thru indiscriminate dumping of solid wastes. I used to drink water from the canal now, its almost sewage. Unfit even to bath. During summer the canal would be dry as water supply would be stopped. The canal would be so dry, that we used to play in the sand, Now, after they decided to lay concrete on the canal, iits more of a sewage canal.

We have too many people, not to mention, we are the destination for almost all the poor asian countries. We need another covid like mass death event to clean up this world.
