Scapia - if you have an existing Fedral Card (like One Card), you won't get it

Fi - even i faced the same problem, which was so bizzare!

I was also thinking about Niyo Global, but haven't applied yet. The other cards you mentioned, are they free?

The most "travel friendly" card I have right now is OneCard, it has 1% forex fee. Uni Card was supposed to come up with a new card last year with 0% forex fee as well, but I suppose that has been shelved

I think fi is also tied up with federal Bank so if you have another federal card you can't get fi. Not 100% sure on this.

@JadeArgent I have no federal bank link up. Still got rejected. They were free.

So you need cards that reward good internationally? Axis bank cards were good, they are devalued now. But Axis Vistara is still good card, you would be able to get decent rewards for international transactions

I want to spend without extra charges. Axis has 3.5% charge and its reward system isn't that great.

Axis Vistara Infinite credit card has amazing reward system. But again, if you travel Vistara. Amex has decent rewards if you redeem it for Hotel benefits.

If you want 0% forex, why even go for credit cards? There are lots of debit cards or forex cards which have 0% forex

If you can negotiate, can get RBL world safari card as LTF, (zero forex, free golf games, priority pass nice benefits) I previously had Zomato RBL cc when it discontinued I asked them for the upgrade they gave the option world safari or icon, i took the world safari one.

Can you give me lead in RBL? I have savings account with them and stocks too. But not enough money to negotiate this big

CosmicQuokka

I don't any personal rbl contact, no savings account only cc. I went through calling regular customer care, maybe try asking for your account's relationship manager.

I do have a contact numbers for indusind bank employee and StanChar/HDFC cc sourcing agent. But you'll have to search form their Forex offerings.

And if intnl credit card is not required, you can get tripmoney Forex card from MakeMyTrip app.

Stay away from Niyo they keep switching banking partners, leaving old users hanging.

Niyo worked well for my friends, no issues, payment gets directly debited in inr, no hassle of incurring forex charges multiple times (e.g. i ended up using indusind forex card, had to convert inr to eur and then eur to another local currency at time of payment, double loss) . I had a not so good experience, card did not get delivered on time but that was mostly fault of Delhivery

Also, why does IDFC Wow Zero Forex card sound too good to be true?

Best Forex Card ?

I will be going on a trip to Europe soon, and wanted to know which is the best Forex card that I can use ?

Would prefer a card with zero markup fees, good customer service and airport lounge access, if feasible
