I usually panic before an interview and end up not attending it at all or postponing it. Even after preparing I feel under pressure and get performance anxiety. How can I tackle this? I’m always worried about what they’ll ask and if I don’t answer properly what will they think of me, I get such intrusive thoughts. And even after preparing I always feel like I have not prepared well enough.
I guess you might be afraid to fail and take the rejection personally, hence the anxiety and pressure. Treat the interviews more like a 2 way conversation and also the following thought helps before the interview (thinking about your current job) : “isse bura bhi kya he ho jaayega”. That usually helps + hyping yourself in the mirror before the interview.
