If we are a beginner is it good to invest ourselves through any Investing apps like Grow/ETMoney etc.. or should we consult any financial advisor or firm to start our investing journey. Please suggest.

If you are a fickle minded investor use any apps because it makes no difference. If you are a patient and disciplined investor then only take help of a good advisor as it is pointless otherwise. I'm a certified mutual fund distributor and certified insurance advisor. You can contact me (preferably only if you are not fickle minded and can be patient to remain invested whether your investment is 5000 or 5 lakhs for at least 5 years in equity).
