iPhone 15

PSA: if you’re planning to buy it on EMI, you probably don’t need it.

What if I have the money to buy it right now, but I'll rather go for no cost emi so that the amount gets deducted over a time period ?

To manage cash flow, it makes perfect sense. This post was directed towards the people who treat an iPhone as a way to show off their (nonexistent) wealth.

There is nothing wrong in saying “I can’t afford it now” and aspire to afford it someday.

You can almost always get it it cheaper with offers and discounts without the emi.

If you can afford to pay the whole amount upfront it makes sense to not go the emi route most of the times .

After buying an iPhone I conclude that I like my android more 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm planning to switch to iOS from Android. Currently using OnePlus 11 and I don't like its camera at all, videos are just plain terrible. Could you recommend which phone to get?

I still remember getting iPhone 3G from the US back in 2008. Costed 20k at that point. Used it for almost 5 years. An iPhone can easily last for 6-7 years(if you don’t upgrade the software much). And the price is simply ridiculous, specially the Pro ones without much add-on features.
Best to buy 2-3 generation old ones(on great discount).

Didn't get - if you don't upgrade software much. Does it help? As iOS 17 is around the corner

Yup. I know 2 persons who had used iPhone 5s and 6 respectively for almost 8 years.
What happens is that those upgrades will decrease the performance of older devices(4th generation and older). While there is a possibility that you may not get updates from your favourite apps of the iOS version is not updated. Until you feel there is no necessity of those app upgrades, you needn’t upgrade. You would be able to see the performance. Try doing it once and you would know. I sold my iPhone 6 recently and upgraded to iPhone 13. It was working fine but I felt the necessity to upgrade the camera, and few of my fav apps weren’t supported anymore.

If you're planning to buy it on kidneys, you definitely don't need it.

I thought of taking an iphone. I already have iphone 12 and I thought its right time to update. But another thought struck me, what else i can do with this money, now I am planning to take LG Oled, I believe this would add much more value for me, right now
