What is everyone's view on this post by Kannadigas
Is there a possibility the situation gets worse? Even the doctors are asked to write prescription in Kannada, so the goverment is also supporting it in a way.
I am seeing a lot of hate on social media. Whenever there is a post related to Bangalore all the comments are about "aur karo kannada kannada". I have been in Bangalore for a few months now and most of the people I have talked to in Hindi have replied with some amount of Hindi. Haven't faced any discrimination. (Except in BMTC buses, the conductors are very rude, not sure if it's language related though). Wanted to see if everything I am seeing on social media is true? Or is it just propaganda spread by politicians to divide and rule.
Lived in Bangalore for over a decade now. The only time you get asked “speak in Kannada” is when the other party wants to fight you for whatever reason. It’s like a go-to victim card for the other guy.
If you are here for the long run, learn the language and start interacting with your neighbors, chaiwala, bus conductor, security guard, etc. That is how I learnt the language.
Its a propaganda by BJP supporters to defame the state, taking isolated incident and making it a big issue.

I've been living in BLR all my life and been living in Gurgaon for about 4 months now because of company transfer. I thought BLR was bad until I came to Gurgaon.
Gurgaon folks: don't move to Bengaluru Bengaluru folks: don't move to Gurgaon
I don’t get the narrative of most south states to force their language on others. I mean people from different states in the north speak different native language i.e Punjabi, Haryanvi etc but still they can do the conversation in Hindi....
"I don’t get the narrative of most south states to force their language on others." How fair is it for North Ind...
