I will tell you a funny story -
Once I was traveling within Bengaluru and booked a Ola/uber cab (can’t recall exactly). The moment I stepped in cab driver had his photo printed, posted with KRV neck-scarf. For the uninitiated, KRV claims to be culture-protectors but these guys are political goons supported by party in govt.
I started thinking, I shouldn’t give any impressions to the driver of my “outsider” roots. Few minutes into the ride, he started speaking to me in Hindi. He must have guessed it from my name. Few moments later, he started telling me his weight loss journey and ultimately pitched “Herbalife” in pure Hindi 🤣🤣🤣
A KRV guy selling me Herbalife in Bengaluru in Hindi. That day I realised, all these language war is just a political gimmick to manipulate locals from asking “real questions” to the govt and keep the fire burning.
The more I see things around from this lens, it further proves my hypothesis. Another data point published by a local publication on kids of KRV-leaders studying in international schools 😂
