Is being an introvert a challenge for product designers?

As a product designer, one need to work with different stakeholders (developers, product managers, business etc.). As an introvert, how do you manage to speak up your opinions and not feel intimated in a group of people? Specially if you're new to a company and haven't had much interaction yet with the team.

As an introvert myself and already am in this situation, All i can suggest is start voicing your opinion from early on, because if you don't they start questioning your competence.

I can strongly feel the judgement already. Thanks for the advice, I'll try to work on it!

There will always be judgement,
What can you do! So just don't mind them and focus on yourself. Good luck

Introverts in product design? A disaster. They're like silent movies in a world that loves Netflix. Speak up or pack up!

I would suggest to take a training on public speaking that will give you confidence on voicing your opinion in constructive ways.

Being an introvert designer? No problem! It's all about deep thinking and detail. Just prepare, write, and build relationships. Isn't that a strength?

Do introverts become Founders?

Random thought- I hate the idea of going to office and seeing /talking to people. Imagine running from one investor to other, pitching your startup

Do you know anyone? Or do introverts continue with their desk jobs.
