Is D2C sales a good career path ?

I’m a fresher and working in a D2C startup and manage the sales team . Should I be moving to B2B sales to see real money ?

I am also kind of a fresher in a SAAS sales company. Not that experienced to answer your question. But in tech saas B2B sales starting salary is 5-7 lpa from what I have seen

Hmm I see … so I already draw a higher salary than this as an experienced in B2C sales . I understand that B2B sales requires alot of cold calling and cold emailing how true is this ?

Pretty true. An SDR's role is all about cold calling and cold emailing. But here, you're not approaching a random list but a highly researched prospects list. Once you climb up to the Account Executive, your role for the most of the time would be about taking the meetings that other SDRs booked for you.

But again as an experienced professional you can get anywhere from 8-12lpa as a SDR in India and even more if it's a remote American/eu/APAC company

What what you say are other roles or career growth part after SDR and hitting 8-12 LPA . What are moved to after that if you have any idea

That depends a lot on the product .you can't just categorise b2b and b2c companies. Generally edtech companies have a lot of calling involve in b2c . In saas it depends upon the number of companies you have to go after. Say if you are Targeting 400 companies in a year . It translates to about 2800leads / calls in a year. But again it depends a lot on some factors
