Is feeling lonely, as a MAN, OK?
Hi In final year right now of my BE My entire college life I am feeling left out No friends, If I need something I ask my classmates It feels odd It feels week Why as a MAN I am feeling such emotions
Even accepting the fact myself that path further ahead will be like this only But still in mind, somewhere I believe if I had someone to talk to Someone to share everything I have It would have been better Yet again weak thoughts
How as MALE adults you overcome Or you don't give a f*ck about it More like "hey, I don't even have time to feel shit"
Pls throw some light on these thoughts I am open to every discussion
Nature is kind to woman. Time is kind to man.
Puberty doesn't give you muscles, money, house & car. It takes years to reach stability. Focus on process. It does get better.
I assure you. I felt same in 2020. Now it's better. There is still room to grow & improve. With right efforts, it will still get better.
Believe in God or your self or the process or life or universe. Believe & keep improving & upgrading. There is light at end of the tunnel.
Start exercising if you don't already. It will give you more confidence to do things and take risks.
Relationships matter, especially quality ones where you actively work to cultivate it. It could be with your family, and just 1 or 2 friends.
We take family relations for granted so always forget about that. So this is the first easy place to start with.
As for friends, just go out, ask for help, be receptive. You share a lot of worries/state with them and there will be common ground for you to hit it off.
Watch the YouTube video about the longest happiness study by Vertasium. That has far more dense and relevant literature than what comments here could offer.
It doesn’t get better, we just get better at handling the emotions. Being a man doesn’t automatically make u masculine, but it is the natural trajectory. You’ll figure it out with time and basically know what to do in order to keep such thoughts at bay
Make peace with it as nobody really cares and it will hurt you in the long run.
And take time investing in personal and professional relationships that’s how they last longer.
