Is Fittr helpful?

I have recently started working out and looking to gain muscles. Need help in planning the diet and workout routine. Should I consider Fittr Or Healthify Me as an option? Do they help?

I am a vegetarian. Not obese, but have high body fat (~30%) .

As someone who’s been following that community since the days it used to be a FB group called SQUATS, I’d suggest you stay away from it. The Founder is a gimmick following gymbro who first preached Keto as the be all and end all of all diets. Also have heard of many shady practices that they generally practice as a company. While I’m sure the product and app in general are great, but I personally don’t believe in supporting products on the back of such issues.

Both of them would be able to help track your calories. I never used them during my weight loss journey though.
Best would be to connect with a dietician from the gym where you are working out. They would be able to help you out with a good diet plan. Also, it’s better to get a personal trainer for the initial 3 months. Helps you know the workouts properly plus helps building habit for your workout routine.

Thanks. Personal trainer charged are quite high though:) I can check about the dietician.

Haha… that’s true… the only reason mentioning them was they would help you with your workout routine.., and you probably might get tagged with another client of the personal trainer… who can then become your gym buddy…
They are pretty costly… I remember I paid around 12k for personal trainer and this was in 2016… my 1 year gym membership was for 12k(golds)..

I have enrolled with a trainer from Fittr and so far seen good results though it's on you to be consistent, control your food cravings and be regular at the gym.
Somehow this has made me more accountable and led to good results.
