Silent Layoffs in Jar
Heard from a few employees in Jar that they are reducing their headcount silently and asking employees to move out. They recently lost their biggest NBFC partner Appollo, is Jar facing financial issues?
I got some friends at Jar and got to know in their lending business their only nbfc partner has backed out and for sure they are gonna cut cost, got my other friends offer revoked in tech, product managers are leaving and now even the funding is drying up Their founders are begging for funding from last 1.5yrs but nothing. Got to know from my product friend at Jar how badly he/she is trying to get out but suddenly they increased the np as the culture is so shit that no one is staying willingly
I spoke to one of their founders recently. He looked and spoke as if he was on drugs! Weird experience
I saw phonepay made a deal with me
That's a daily saving feature, which Jar users were using since the beginning now they gave an official name to it nothing else
These Jar founders are the lamest founders ever. Not a shred of purpose and ambition in their veins except to go around smothering me with their illusions of grandeur.
Mark my words, there’s a pivot in the works and it will go down by this year end.

Hearing rumours that they are raising more money while the culture keeps detonating, many are fired and many have left with no product roadmap clarity
Has anyone interviewed with Jar recently? The company has been hiring for the SPM role for the last 6 months (afaik). Are they not able to hire one or are they hiring more than one person for the same position?
