Java (Spring Boot) project ideas
Can you please suggest some projects ideas which can help me get a dev job at a startup. Currently the work I get at my current job doesn't involve coding (its mostly setup and bug fix involving very minimal coding). I think I need to showcase my coding skills with some projects, but can't think of what to make. I have been advised that common apps like e-commerce, blog etc. are ignored. (correct me if that's incorrect).
So, looking for some ideas with some details for projects.
A calendar integrated todo list. A time management enabled task manager.
can you please tell a little on what do you mean by 'time management enabled task manager', I mean what features it should have?
I have a list of todos. I have 8 working hours in a day. The tool should enable me to map the tasks against those 8 hours. Imagine a Google Calendar where for each task, you block a meeting slot.
What's wrong in developing e-commerce, blog, chat applications?? If you want to learn build anything BUT JUST BUILD SOMETHING.
I once had a chat with a guy whom I find here on grapevine, he suggested that everyone is making these, so its not the best one's to be showcased on resume.
