Jio Cinema - please share company scenes

Folks, I have an offer from Jio Cinema for SDE2 role. I have a few questions:

  1. Is it a safe company to join wrt layoffs?
  2. How's the scene right now?
  3. How much of engineering knowledge growth can I expect there?

Thanks!

What’s your yoe and their offer. Based on this you can take a call whether is it worth the risk. Layoffs are inevitable and can be anytime anywhere

2YOE, fixed salary is in 30s. The thing is, I've already joined one company since 2 months, and now if Jio Cinema lays me off in future, I'll be rekt.

What do you think?

30s is from 30 to 39. Still not enough information to give our perspective

Run from JioCinema, atleast for the Tech teams. Pathetic WLB, horrible managers. They will ask you to work on weekends too. Research about the company from folks on LinkedIn. One of my friend is there, I can’t help but see him depressed as hell.

They pay more at the cost of your personal life.

Jio cinema is pretty stable, don’t even think about lay offs

If you are excellent at your job you won’t have issue. But they do push out mediocre or growing employees

I see... Thanks! Anything from work hour perspective? How often do you have to work late nights or weekends?
