company review: slice
is slice a good company to work at? i am interviewing with them for an engineering position. please help with the details on work culture, leadership and work life balance. (engineers at slice, please help)
They’ll hire you at a good salary and with HRs welcoming you.
You’ll start observing the toxicity from day 1.
You’ll feel good when you’ll get your first salary and a few subsequent ones.
They’ll make you work day and night, push you for everything like their entire business depends on it.
They’ll have zero shit focus on your personal growth, these folks even consider if they should pay for those Udemy enterprise services.
Then they’ll delay the complete appraisal cycle for months and make you believe that they’ll adjust the appraisals accordingly on a pro rata basis. They’ll expect you to fill in all reviews without fail without missing a single deadline during the review. HR will casually delay it more suddenly due to heavy volumes of work.
At the end of 1.5 years, when they’ll announce it, they reward you with a 10% increment. That’s it. They’ve zero respect for their employees’ efforts, no matter what that guy tells us during town halls.
Not even my ex betrayed me the way these so called intellects did lmao, gave my everything to this company and got this in return.
Don’t ever join this company, it’s trash. My mental health is worse than ever before, please never do it yourself for just a few more lakhs.
PS: I’m convinced that a huge number of people will be leaving in the next 2-3 months, so start preparing if you still want to join this shithole.
So you're saying they 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘥 off your paycheck
Jokes aside, take care 🫂
Sreenu Nair does full show on announcing new joinees. Now we know why they have so many of them, people leave as soon too
What was your role?
How to spot a bad culture company. They are super nice with the new joinees.
Alice is pretty shady imo. Idk how they’re making money
