JPMC WLB opinions
I've heard from people in general that WLB in JPMC is bad. People are expected to work over time casually and the deadlines are quite stringent. Is this true?
Heard a lot about "good wlb" in Jpmc India (Software Engineers) from seniors. What are your thoughts
My perception is that banks have it better than product or startup companies
They won’t give you WFH if you are about to die also , and they will ask proofs for it , there’s backend team to validate the proofs and they will say how many days rest is needed not your doctor nor your body condition. Other than this you need to work on late hour to align with their US team mostly, you will end up working for At least 12 hrs in a day. Hikes and bonus are good, you get almost twice in an year with a nice amount irrespective of your salary hike bonus will be good, food and cab is provided with nice office facilities, once in 3 yrs you will get a good amount for buying laptop 💻 workstation related stuff and the last you need to deal with school principal sort of managers / leads.
