My heart is filled with nothing but disgust if these allegations are genuine. I hope this reaches its natural conclusion and justice prevails.
Situation A - Victim is female -
Only her words are enough for conviction. No proofs needed.
Situation B - Victim is male -
No matter what proofs you have, no action will be taken - both by POSH committee as well as police.
This is the disgusting laws of our country which promises no discrimination on the basis of gender. But ironically, the whole constitution is based on gender, religion and other discriminations.
What proofs are given?
Is it this easy? I hang out with almost 5-6 female colleagues of mine. We mostly go out for drinks, house parties movies, 1o1's. We often converse in double meaning. For instance a female colleague casually says Meri gaand phati padi hai. To which I casually reply maine kabhi phati hui dekhi nahi hai dikhao zara to which she laughs and almost hugs me and says bc. This happens on a daily basis. I also do pass compliments like your lips are very kissable to which my colleague pout and says toh kar na.
How to make sure allegations are true ? Lot of fake allegations due to grudge
Can u imagine someone going to such lengths for a fake allegation? He is risking a lot and if the time and place are indeed right then a lot likely
@Greedy That’s very true but this also comes at a great personal cost, so much reputations risk for both parties.
Hopefully, the truth comes out.
Damn never visit any work place colleague’s place at night. Hope there is justice in this case
@FunnyBones it is a clear violation of trust here. I understand your well meaning advice but perpetrated harassment is not okay.
Ya man can’t help if the perpetrator has such dark side to him since it would never show up in day to day life. Moreover between 2 men, the possibilities are low but seems like best to avoid since such case has come out.
I'd worked with Ganapathi very briefly (I'm from InMobi not Glance) and I'm really shocked to know this has allegedly happened.
Can you point his LinkedIn, I could not find it
I can't find it either, maybe deleted it
Bruh 1 week and no concrete response from legal? Smh 🤦🏻♂️
Poor guy he is 2023 grad, just had joined the corporate and must have trusted the Harasser as a mentor or something and met him outside of formal setting.
Extremely Bad on the Company side to not give updates on the files complaint about how they are inquiring this matter irrespective of the outcome of the enquiry.
Corporates/Companies only care about their profits and agenda, all this supporting diversity, LGBTQ+, or oppressed groups is all their agenda/PR for them to gain likes on Social media.
When real time incidents occur in their company they are incompetent to handle these situations.
Such companies with incompetent management should just shut down for better of the society.
