Don't get into a chain co-living PG promising a metropolitan happening social life, it's all a scam, the rooms are always worse than what they look and in 90% of the cases you lose the security deposit. If you're looking for temporary housing, go for local PGs like "Shri SaiRam PG for Gants", they won't scam you at the very least. The safest and best for the wallet option is to take an Oyo Wizard membership and get an Oyo room for like 500-600 through it.
Hi I will be shifting to Bangalore next month . Till now I was thinking of staying in pg like stanza living zolo and colive. The price are high in these. Like 15000-16000 2 time food double sharing. I never never been to any metropolitan city , the reason I am thinking of these option is considering they are chained pg they would have better facilities and good food .
But I have some negative reviews and they said it is not worth the money .
Can you please guide me ? I am a fresher. My office location is hsr layout
The food in most of these PGs are not worth it, the same mess food that we've been making jokes about since decades. There are some decent cheap Oyos costing 500-600 near HSR sector 7 and BTM(remember one called Varsity Phi), you could opt for a tiffin service on top of that. This may exceed your 15k budget but you'll at least live in a proper room alone with decent food and won't be scammed of your security deposits. There are some local PGs in HSR too that you could opt for, but I'd recommend don't go to a PG expecting decent food, if you're shifting to a metro for the first time there's bound to be too many changes you'd be adjusting to, do yourself a favour and don't compromise on decent food.
Manage your money properly. It's really easy to waste money on all the crazy stuff the city has to offer. Practice moderation in everything especially what you eat and drink. Take care of your hair coz BLR water.
Folks why so much 'don't' advise here? its a great place to come and build a career. So welcome!
