I've been a sole product owner of a Portal for the past 3 years in my org, I look after all the onboarding of the corporate and their daily requirements to configure the portal - the way our customers want it.
Our company has a client base, servicing all the A category corporates like Godrej, Ernst & Young, Tech Mahindra, Siemens group, etc for their Foreign exchange requirements.
The reason I'm looking for a switch is that I strongly believe that I'm being underpaid for the value I'm adding for our customers. I also don't have adequate talent resources i.e backend developers, if I have to develop a new feature for this portal - this makes me feel helpless in my role.
Upon confronting this to my manager - he keeps saying that we're looking for developers and will hire someone soon.
