Looking for opportunities in the semiconductor industry

Hi guys,

I have done my Masters in Solid Sate Electronic materials from IIT Roorkee and am currently working as an embedded developer. With the semiconductor boom on the way, how can I change my line of work to designing and fabrication of ICs. Any pointers on what companies I can apply to or courses I can take to be eligible for taking up these roles.

Thanks in advance.
