Bangalore is at its downfall, and the biggest reason are their natives( not all) who never accepted people from other states with open heart despite getting a lot of business and revenue from them.
Bangalore is a classic example of what should NOT be done in the name of ‘retaining the local culture’
A lot to learn from cities like Pune, and even Mumbai ( it does have some other issues but not as serious as Bangalore ) to a lot extent .
Also corporate jobs are now getting decentralized so its not going the case that people can’t find work in other cities so either the situation improves there or its the natives who are going to suffer there more than anyone else in long run
Boss calm down this has happened to the locals as well, Bangalore has a long history of rude auto and cab drivers, I am not defending him (genuinely feel bad for the ladies) dosent mean Bangalore is on a downfall, stop being a keyboard warrior and go see the FII and IT projects coming up, no other city can compete with this
I always tell people if possible find some other location. Bengaluru is second most worst city to live in India
The auto guy is obviously wrong but the girl is also stupid. If you are cancelling it, then cancel it from your phone without telling the driver that it was u who called the auto/cab. The driver can't tell who actually called the auto in today's crowd.
Because if driver reaches your location and u cancel it, obviously he will feel pissed, bcoz he might have missed other rides.

The girl would have pretty much taunted the guy, berating and abusing him and then showing him how she canceled the ride in front of him.
This does not seem like a one sided incident. Replace that girl with a guy and the first instinct would be that he did something to provoke the auto guy and now using his socials to gain sympathy. Why should we treat the girl’s story in this case as any different?
She should not have been slapped. But outside of this blind support, the autodriver is not the villain everyone is making him out to be.
The girl was well within her rights to cancel the ride, as the aggregators charge cancellation fees of which a part of it goes to the driver as well. Cab/Auto drivers have done this multiple of time, but don't like it when it's other way around. At least she is monetarily compensating him for his inconvenience.
No use. Police won't take action as he's a local. Unless it gets so viral that they have no other choice but to charge him.
The situation is worsening day by day. The police support the locals, no action being taken on them. That's why he's shouting, let's go to the police station. Because he knows they'll ultimately support him.
I don't understand why they have so much issue with the people who are not local. What harm are they doing?
