Market bad or me?

I have been applying for new positions since March and haven't got single interview call. I have 3 years of experience and currently working in service-based company. I reached people for reference and got referred to some companies but still no response. I want to blame market but I see people switching daily.

Probably a combination of both :

  1. The market is indeed tough currently with limited hiring happening
  2. Given the tough market, is your skillset and resume good enough to stand out from the crowd, to be able to compete for the limited jobs available?

I agree, but I see people with less skillset getting hired. Maybe my resume is not good.
