Meesho DS Interview

Currently, I have one offer of 18 LPA (15 LPA Fixed + 3 LPA Variable Pay), and my date of joining (DOJ) is 14th August. I have already accepted this offer. However, today, I received a call from Meesho HR, offering to pay 30% more than my earlier offer. The process involves four rounds.

Given that I have only 10 days left until my DOJ, I am feeling confused about how to proceed. What should be my ideal approach in this situation?

As a Meesho employee, I think you can join if you like to not worry about work life balance yet. The company is pushing hard for profitability.

Unlike what others mentioned - Meesho is not a hiring and firing spree. We had layoffs 2 months ago, yes, but nothing happened after that. Our cofounders have promised several times that it will be the last.

True. Not an expert here but you'll be able to read the signs of how your company biz is striving. Maybe leadership exits etc will give signs.

Meesho is paying more because it's overvaluing you as a resource. Don't get surprised when 4-5 months down the line you are shown the pink slip because revenue/salary didn't get justified.

Just tell the HR that you have to join within a week. Ask HR to finish interviews in a week.

Meesho is known to hire and fire. You don’t want to be looking for a job in 6 months, and unemployment for 3 months will remove any financial benefit you had with Meesho offer.

Bro, I believe you should interview the HR first. What did you sense when you spoke to here? Did she check on your professional and personal ambition? Did she make the call about you or only Meesho? Did she tell you who is your hiring manager and what is the size of the team you are going to get into, did she try to know about your core values, if yes does it align the team at Meesho?

Or, it's just money that they can offer. Also, are you also inclined towards the problem they are solving? Did they ask about your preferred industry?
