Recently scrolling thru LinkedIn I found many girls from my college are getting into Microsoft as a summer intern even if they don't have any leetcode , codeforces , code chef or GitHub profiles ... I am not sure how they are getting in....
Week back there were posts by linkedin engineers that linkedin is hiring SDEs and anyone can as referral and today they laid off 700 people.
Like whats happening man!!! Is the company dumb or what?
