but I still see all the auto drivers using short video apps, falling dau doesn’t look right to me, does that mean insta reels have taken over the market?
Short video apps are definitely still solid. I think it’s just YouTube and Instagram that are succeeding though.
The comment on Instagram and YouTube is UGC so the trend it always evolving. Problem with glance is they stuck around with premium content which is substandard needs monitoring.
Glance day was an absolute failure, check superset you will realise the only time we get engagement is when the creator is bending down or showing cleavage.
Glance and Roposo are in absolute shambles they ventured into love commerce looking at Chinese market only to realise the kind of users who use their app is redmi guys who badly have money to burn on the garbage they sell online.
Partly I blame the leadership who were adamant and didn’t not take actions.
This is just about commerce integration to these platforms. Everything else is still working and is being valued. Heck influencers probably earn more than most of us, although less stable
Doing some research, and the conclusion is just cultural reasons and lesser impact of influencers in India vs. China. Also WeChat. But seems shallow, can somebody help me build on this view?

Seems apt, now that there are everywhere incl OTT, next thing to capture would be social media.
