The max CAGR which you can expect is around 15-18% for the longer time frame. That too is the best possible case. Do not expect anything more than this. Investing in individual stocks is altogether a different ball game. But for MFs this is the best you can get.

Invested 56k in HDFC MF back in 2010. Its current value is 3.62 Lacs. Annualised at roughly 14%
