This is a funny happy moment for me, and I wanted to share it.
The picture below is from my handwriting practice notebook (4 lines are better to train the brain on the height of what each alphabet should be)
For context, I am ambidextrous. I used to write with both hands when I was young, but then dropped it when I was around 7.
I have been wanting from a long time to get my non-dominant hand (right) on the same level of handwriting as my dominant one (left). But I was never consistent with my practice, leaving it for months or years altogether.
The picture is my random practice session today.
But what a surprise it was! The alphabets on the first line are near perfect to how I write with my left hand. When I was writing, I kept saying to myself that "my brain has forgotten that I am writing with my right hand ๐". I showed it to my mother telling her the same thing ๐
Then I decided to test it further, started to write sentences, and lo and behold, my handwriting was actually very good. This surprised me, and made me super happy altogether.
This is my small celebration of coming close to achieving a dear dream. This made my day!
