Why is there so much hate for him? He built a company without funding in a era where you would wait for telephone for 10 years (no kidding, ask your grand parents) and pay bribe after 10 years to connect twisted cable. A desktop computer then cost equal to a plot of land which would be worth 2 cr today. Those who invested 3k in Infosys IPO have over 2cr with them today.

For those who don't like him, what is your achievement other than punching bits and bytes on social media?

He is selfish and trying to exploit his employees, which is leading to hate. Although there are some companies that ask for 60+ hrs of work from their employees, most of them pay really well. Compare that to Infosys, which has kept the entry pay constant at 3.5 L for many decades. If this is not exploitation, I don't know what else is.

Their employees are free to quit and join a better company no? Besides, there was never a mention in his statement of his employees. People are connecting 2 unrelated stuff for unknown reason.

Coming to entry level pay, if I am not mistaken, it does not account the training duration for 6 months including the accomodation.

I agree if you want to do something worthwhile it will probably require 70+hr work weeks but if you're telling me that putting 70+hrs for a company instead of my own ideas is worth it? Bullshit. Probabilistically speaking, rarely people who genuinely work hard in companies are rewarded for their hardwork.

Someone who I worked with in my early days is a VP fortune 50 company (in US) and every body who knew would call him a genius for his IQ. He worked 70 hours consistently and managed it well. Guess, IQ will take you only so far without hard work.
