Need assistance

I have done BCA thinking of cracking a job in IT but it was just a dream and with no choice I had to join BPO as a tech support due limited time and money as I was staying in Delhi and I needed to pay for rent and other expenses. It's been 7 years since I've been stuck in BPO. I have done full stack certification and took an online class for powerBi. Still not able to figure out how to change the job domain. I have tried applying in multiple companies but they all need relevant experience which I don't have. I cannot leave my current job and completely focus on a job interview. Currently working in the supply chain with 5 LPA. No hike no promotions. Can someone please give some advice?

Yes you did certification and everything, but mostly certifications doesn’t work 🤔, it’s just anyone can go through the particular course, watch all the videos, pay for course and get certification, yes sometimes there will be some hands on, but it’s just basics. And the same goes for powerbi as well. So to answer you question, what you should be doing is: you gave to go few steps further, next build some website using your full stack knowledge, from frontend, backend, database, and use some cloud resources to host it, do projects on both server and server less architectures, and after hosting write a blog explaining how you did it, with architecture and explaining every step then post that on LinkedIn. And by the time you build your 4th project someone will contact you and offer interview, and same goes for powerbi, build dashboards on it using some data, and post it on LinkedIn. If you’re stuck watch YouTube videos and utilise chatgpt, key is to build something and showcasing it.

Just in case if you doubt whether this method works or not, it really did for me, I got Machine Learning job because of that, I got to architect the whole ML solutions. All I’m saying is just build the projects, learning from YouTube, certification anyone can do, but implementing whatever learnt, and making it actually work needs a different level of skill set, you’ll have to debug lot is errors, you have to understand the full stack architecture, what works best with what, if someone gives you problem statement, let’s say build Netflix, you should be able to come up with architecture diagram, which database to use, whether to go with server or serverless, if serverless which cloud resources will be required, where to host, how to scale. Etc etc. but to reach that level you have to start with some small projects, let’s say school management system, but don’t confuse it the same way as building that for engineering project, here you should thing about what new feature to integrate and how to host it online so anyone can login and use it, and some other similar projects like that. If you are completely blank about where to start., search on YouTube for “ end to end full stack project” there will be so many videos, pick one just follow through each and every step, then after going through 2-3 videos you’ll get the idea.
