Need job advice

Heya,I switched my job 2months back and in the new company work is almost equal to null like it is too chill someday I literally have no work and I just roam around as it is work from home. Help what should I do. I have just 3 yoe and I can't just do time pass and chill, need to learn and get hands on exp.

What you guys suggest, what's the right thing to do?

Was in the same boat. Pay was great, but there is no learning and was doing a repeated task. Decided to move on from there.

My parents were a bit disappointed as I took a pay cut of ~6%. But I knew this is the right thing to do as the opportunity cost was high in the long run.

Do you suggest finding new jobs? Because it's been just 2months I joined and will other companies be OK hearing this?

I'd suggest you to start looking. During my change, HRs didn't see it as a red flag. I mentioned the reason why I was looking for a change and every single HR accepted the reason and they didn't mind it. Be open to them, because it'll show up in your background check.

You can still learn on your own time, don't need job for that.

Build side projects and side hustles, something could work out well long term. You have a safety net, it's the best way to experiment. Just don't tell your team about it and don't publicise it too much. That's what I did when I was unsatisfied with my job. Built my startup that I'm running full time today.

You could also freelance, accept payments in your parents' Bank account or something, or a separate personal account that isn't salary account.

In a job you either earn or learn… and at 3 yoe.. u should be learning so that you can earn high after 5 years otherwise years of experience would mean nothing
