Can anyone please help me with the application process and what kind of profile to have to apply for ivy league/ top colleges in US for masters in AI/ML. Also how much work ex should we have ideally? I am a 2023 college graduate. Wanted info on CGPA, LORs research papers
GRE and GPA are just filters, lower score will rule you out but higher scores not necessarily help you. Only thing that works is how you showcase your "research potential" as admission committee really looks for them. It can be through papers in tier 1 / tier 2 conferences and using LORs. Get LORs from professors who publish in conferences and those network with people.
Also be clear on why you want you want to do an M.S. it's not worth it for the money as you would be behind your peers in career trajectory due to opportunity cost and time as well as due to H1B lottery issues. I have an M.S and it didn't help me much in terms of money. IMHO work experience > Master's for IC roles
