Need suggestions

I am a 2023 grad. I joined a startup but it is asking me to look for new opportunities. I interview at Zeta and recieved an offer. I also have an offer from Service Now. Current compensation: 21 TC (16 base) Zeta : 17 TC(16 base) not ready to increase even after counter offer Service Now: 23 TC(15 base) Hear lot of bad things about zeta like silent layoffs, 0% hike this year and we need to go to office 5 days a week where as it is hybrid at service now. Zeta has better learning and that is the only upside of it. Would love to hear some feedback.

Bro how did you get those offers? Tier 1?

Yes I am from tier 1 but in this market no one is seeing the college tier. I have very good dsa + multiple intern experiences. Also for every opening there are too many applicants so referral is also not working. So I am asking managers, tech leads to share my resume with hiring manager or refer me. I think this will give us better chances of getting link for the online assessment.

Yeah I second the referral thing. Not working for me as well. I’ll use your tactic to ask tech leads and managers to share my resume and see if that works. Thanks bro! And all the best as well.

Bro, Join Zeta and again start looking for a job when the market gets stable. I have an offer from Sprinklr Automation engineer role and I am joining sprinkler and plan to start looking for the SDE roles when the market gets stable.

The company I join will be my second company na. So I think switching again early will be bad. I might me considered as job hopper ?

If you work in Zeta for around 8-9 months, then I don't think that it will create a problem or you can continue with Zeta for 1+ years and then start looking for a new job opportunity.

Zeta is good. Lot of folks who have stayed around >5 yrs in the co. Market is tough. I would recommend go with Zeta.

Also, only consider base + cash variable when comparing offers. RSU/ ESOPs mostly don't materialise

Yes the Zeta during covid and before was great but read many negatives things on blind and leetcode. So wanted to know from someone who is aware about how the current situation is. I did not even start my professional career and undergoing one layoff one more will be very difficult for me to take.

Also heard the culture has become toxic at zeta. Can anyone from zeta confirm this ?
