New to stock market

I am working as an intern currently, and I'm currently able to invest 25k pm in MFs. I have some spare money left, so I thought I'll start investing a bit in the stock market as well.

How do I gain knowledge in this? Like which stocks to buy, when to buy, when to sell etc. Thanks!

What's your pay as an intern to afford 25k mf and rent and have leftovers

It's 30k only, I don't have to worry about rent and stuff cause I live with my parents. I also don't spend a lot, like 1k-2k max.

You should read the book called coffee can investing. Then you should buy 1-2 companies on your own analysis. Then you should find your investment persona. Don't jump and start purchasing random things on day 1.

Buy small fixed amounts in big indexes like nifty sensex banknifty etc.

When to buy and sell becomes irrelevant if you're investing. Just buy small amounts every month and forget about it for 5-6 years.

Actively trading is much more difficult and time consuming to learn, also more risky
