No holiday on Eid

My company isn’t giving a holiday for Eid, even though it’s a gazetted holiday. I’m not Muslim, but I still think everyone deserves a day off on such an occasion.

Is this allowed? Can something be done about it? My company is based in Pune, Maharashtra—would love to hear your thoughts!
