
On-call model
We are a team of 4 and my manager wants to cover 24/7 with 4 folks. So he designed on-call from 3 to 7 am IST so each member could cover one week and one weekend. Weekend coverage is 24 hours. The compensation given is 660 rs per day. On every alternate days we get issues and sleep gets hampered when scheduled for on-call. Also one weekend youll work cz issues will be there. They will hire someone but it will take time. So for 3-4 months the model wont change

Is there option for comp off foe on calls
Yes .. on the following week a person who did oncall can take 4 hours off for two days.
They give extra money and comp off for oncall 😳
We have 24/7 oncall for 7 days rotated every 5 weeks, never ever heard of comp off or allowance 😔
