People go to blr and think rest world is village
We also have UPI, we too book cabs, we too have famous food places and better in most cases. We face traffic too, it rains in other parts of India too. You all need to calm down

Looks like your circle is moving to a big city for the first time :)
Bangalore is hardly a big city..
City? It's a collection of villages.
Peak Bengaluru on twitter.
Having lived in the US I was shocked at how awful the traffic in bangalore was. Like this is the city that everyone wants to move to. It's pathetic that people are okay with this.
Bangalore is hardly a model city for anything. Governance is absolutely third rate. Goondas for autowallas, escalating friction between locals and immigrants.
UPI and delivery apps hardly compensate for an otherwise below average city.
We just know how to run online and crib about shit that's all. Other places may not be as vocal.
Have lived in BLR for 1.5 years and explored 75% of it, baring Koramangala and HSR, it's a shit hole.
It's been a month since I shifted to blr koramangala. Every other day I think of getting back home. This is the shittest city I have ever lived in. Except for the climate there is nothing good. Infra is like a village, public transport is bad (no app, they don't take upi in buses) people don't know english or hindi. Food is not great.
Yeah I know that feeling. You are lucky to be in Koramangala, go to some local place and you would feel the locals looking at you like they want to Rip you off . The weather is good and if you belong to a small town, you will see how a metro city feels in terms of big brands and pubs at walking distance, but if you take these out of equation, you would know that it's just another overhyped place.
I was lucky that my hometown is Delhi and I have decided to make this my karma bhoomi now. Might sound superficial but it is what it is
