I recommend Mumbai/Gurgoan-NCR for people who think blr is bad. In Mumbai you can enjoy the peaceful local train travel everyday, write poems sitting at the window seat while the train chugs along the sea shore. And live in a 2 cr apartment that's the size of a car park. Or move to Gurgaon where people and the kids can enjoy dog bites, have a meaningful conversation with dog loving woke liberal aunties. And weekend parties with peacefull polite neighbours. But of course that can be done if there is no protest and you can go out.
What is there in blr? only traffic. All other cities one can easily drive their Lamborghinis.

Bangalore has people with 2 mindsets

1. They feel Bangalore is their home, they belong here culturally and have blended in. They accept the fact that like all cities, there are things that need to be fixed... Infrastructure, strong political leadership to make things happen et all. "Bangalore airport being in Hyderabad " is least of their problems

2. Outsiders who visit Koramangala or Indiranagar on weekends and do not accept they belong to the city culturally, complain that there's traffic and over population forgetting that they are part of the problem by migrating here leaving their home which had "ample job opportunities" that they could not choose one and stay there

Please feel free to take the effort to move back to your home town & find remote work. That will be a win-win for both you and Bangalore.. How do you fail to recognise that most of these traffic problems are because we have moved to this city 😒

Very tired of these posts at this point. You do realise the traffic and water depletion is because we moved here for “better opportunities” right? Unless you take 5 flights a month, I don’t see the airport being a problem.

Bangalore is not my favourite city but I choose to deal with the cards I’ve been dealt with. If youre so unhappy, just move. Less traffic for us.
