Planning to switch. Need advice.
Hey guys, I’m a senior software engineer and I am planning to jump boat. Here are my current compensation details.
YOE: 2 years
Base Pay: 21.7 lacs Bonus: 2.5 lacs RSUs: 20.1 lacs TC: 44.3 lacs
I wish to know where do I realistically stand in the current market and how much of an upside should I aim for while switching. Thanks in advance.
If you can cope with wlb issues, amazon is hiring in current scenario could get around 60lpa for sde2 (lowball from 2021 levels)
I don’t have much of a WLB here either 😭 but ok, I think I can ask for an upside of atleast 50% or more based on the numbers you mentioned here.
Well realistically i have 9 YOE and my CTC is less than half of yours… you’re doing great…. Jump boat if you get good offer else enjoy the life
