So today is Raksha bandhan and every year my parents used to send out Rakhis to all my male cousins on behalf of me. This year I happen to stay in the same city as all my cousins and their parents live. But unfortunately, I got into rough with my parents and they didn't send out the rakhis, nor kept a word about it with me.
In the family group, a cousin brother kept a pic flaunting a rakhi he received from another cousin. I knew he was rubbing my nose with this. I quickly called my dad and asked if they sent the rakhis this time or not... Turns out, they didnt. So thank you tech community for making quick commerce a reality. I was able to send out Rakhis all across Bangalore sitting at my office desk without breaking a sweat (well, technically I was sweating in an AC office... Because of my negligence and emotional insensitivity).
