Ranking WITCHA companies from Okay to Worst//

After talking to multiple friends. Here is the ranking//

  1. Accenture: Probably the best of WITCHA squad, WLB is okay and clients are probably better than what you would get in other companies. Your mileage may vary but pay and career progression is better than the rest.

  2. Cognizant: Not half as bad. Decent clients and sub-par pay but why are they even sponsoring an F1 team? Very vanilla and don't feel strongly about it.

  3. Capgemini: Now this is where it begins. The company is okay. The pay is sub-par and WLB is shit. But they are a professional bunch and won't gang up on you like the ones below in this list.

  4. TCS: Now this is the OG of the gang,. The WLB is shit and the pay is much worse but for key advance tech you can get paid decently well. HR has a tendency to pay Rs.10 more than your current CTC if it is a run of the mill role but what can i say "it is just the bare minimum in this industry now."

  5. Infosys: Sorry but the Murthy Family white-washing their image with all this paid PR while underpaying their employees is the absolute hypocrisy. Shit policies and Shit pay. Have worked here before and working here made a small part of me die every single day here.

  6. Wipro: Either their pitching team is shit or what but they can only win the absolute worst projects. It is still okay if you work at AI Labs or other small teams with better resources and leverage. The hikes here are non-existent and as per my friends you would be non bench for quite long because their staffing team is yuck.

  7. HCL: The worst for the last. This is the real cesspool of them all. Somehow they get the worst of the worst projects, where support work is the max with no documentation on any of these projects. They once offered a friend of mine lower pay than current salary and effectively said that you are overpaid and this is market standards. I would rather work for no pay at a startup than HCL.

Have friends who work/worked across all these companies and the sequence looks just perfect! I was thinking Wipro was better than Infosys though.

I don't agree any of the given statement above, as experience with company vary from one employee to other including WLB, pay, hike, growth, etc etc

@Rocketscience yes accurate! this is what i was saying above. U cannot rank companies from best to worst, its a subjective thing

infosys should be at last in terms of workload/WLB

Incorrect wld doesnt depend on the companies it depends on the project and manager and team mates and their count. Just bcz a single persons wlb is shit doesnt mean the whole company will be attributed to bad wlb.

The rankings of WITCHA companies can depend on several factors including workload, salary hikes/promotions, work culture and many more. As per ratings on different sites, here’s the ranking of these companies.

Accenture: Among the WITCHA squad, Accenture beats other companies any day. In terms of career progression, compensation, using better technologies and working with better clients, Accenture is a reliable company. Capgemini: The career path of Capgemini is clearly structured and so is the salary structure. Cognizant: The company overall follows good moral values. Cognizant promotes innovation and strives to meet client demands. TCS: If you’re looking for a company where you can enhance your tech skills, TCS is the right choice. However, many employees have provided negative reviews about work-life balance. Infosys: Though Infosys have quite a name in the market, employees have stated that career growth is stagnant and you’ve always had to work under pressure. However, they have made progress in terms of team collaboration, using various apps. Wipro: If you’re a fresher, Wipro is a good company to start with. The work environment, pay scale and technology are pretty overwhelming and outdated. HCL: HCL is a notable tech company but they don’t get promising projects compared to other companies.

Accenture has so many levels that people become bootlickers day by day. In Service based company, all depends on the project and you can’t generalise whole organisation based on that. So, tough to say..There is someone who is happy in Wipro and there is another one happy at Infosys and so on
