Counter view:
I suffered from hair loss a few years ago. I was the only one in my family to have this issue. I tried minoxidil for about a year, but that did not help. So I embraced it and shaved my head.

It’s been about 2 and a half years since I decided to shave my hair off and I don’t regret it at all. The first few days is difficult, mostly because all the people who are used to seeing you with hair make some comments about you.
Now, it’s one less decision to make. The hairstyle remains the same every day, regardless.
Long story short; it’s not the end of the world.
Do 2 things:
Wake up early and sleep on time.
Eat and exercise.
If it's not genetic it's stress and habit related. Slow down.
Eating healthy, but not exercising at all and sleep is also gets disturb 3-4 times every week
Exercise then. Sleep will follow
Anyone using minoxidil here? I'm going to start it. The doctor recommended me, but I'm afraid to use it. I think I should have been given some milder treatment.
I've been using minoxidil for a year and from my experience and people I've talked to (including dr himself) it will not grow back lost hair. It will just prevent you from completely losing all of your hair which eventually you would. So let's say if by next 5 yrs, you'd lose 50% of hair, using minoxidil and other stuff, it might be reduced to 20-30% maybe. But it definitely won't stop you from losing hair. It'll just improve the case at hand. Ik it's hard to hear. It was for me too but I've made my peace with it now. Do not believe when someone says their hair got back to normal state just by using minoxidil or some tablets or serums. It might have been possible for them because of their genes but with supplements alone, your hair won't grow back completely.
Thanks for sharing. You'll now continuously use it daily for life?
Start using castor oil, it’s works wonders and looks like gel on hair.
The thing is I have an oily scalp, that's why I never use oil
@IamBiztech I too have an oily scalp, hereditary male pattern baldness. I started seeing severe hair loss and receding hairline during college. So, since I usually shampoo once in 3-4 days, I made a habit of applying a good hair oil the night before I have to shampoo, and wash my hair with shampoo the next day, as simple as that. It has been close to 4 years doing this, I can say that I am definitely seeing positive results without using any derma roller, minoxidil etc because oiling the scalp gradually improves scalp health and reduces hairfall due to weak hair roots.
I am not a guy but I will tell you normal practices to keep your hair healthy.
I would like to say use oil, that shampoo and this shampoo but I don't know your hair type.
I have little bit oily scalp that's Why I avoid oil , but I will surely do the things you described above
