Work culture at Rippling
Have heard very negative feedback from ex employees in my circle. They just seem to be hiring and firing frequently.
My roommate is interviewing for Rippling and he is hesitant as the culture reviews sound very negative..anyone working there or know how its culture is?
A lot of my Amazon colleagues went there. Their only gripe is that not meeting the performance bar directly leads to a termination, so there’s a lot of anxiety around meeting their KPI’
That sounds cruel..is there no performance improvement plan?? And is it for sales people or devs too? My roomate is a dev..
The slary seems great but he wants stable jobs because of responsibilities..should I ask him to keep looking for jobs?
Honestly I’m not informed enough to comment on this from a Dev role perspective.
Rippling is a gold of a place. Think of early days Amazon (I know this gets thrown around a lot). But the good thing about meeting the bar is that you're at that standard globally. As a sr pm at rippling in India you're a sr pm in USA as well and if you ever decide to move out of India you get the same title and pay. And rippling pays.
