Role switch

Hi folks I am an Android developer for almost 4 years ,i want to switch to java backend role and I have done projects in springboot and have 4 years of experience in Java , so if I apply in companies for backend role will they consider me ,like I don't have industry exposure but only personal projects...any guidance would be appreciated ...

Personal projects are good, but industry experience is often needed. Upskill, network, and consider internal switches. Persistence and proving your skills are key. Keep learning and applying.

If you know java, spring boot already and are good at lld + hld then just fabricate your resume to have backend projects also in between android.

If you can crack the interview you'll get the job and I am guessing you are already smart enough to pick-up any new tech quickly if you get the job

Don't listen to others saying 'industry experience is required' its all bullshit.
