Ruthless assignment

Why do companies giving such assignments which is not even on react js, it is on fabric.js, and isnt a single functionality is enough to judge. Along with this i got wireframe design to designed it as well. What is your thought on this ?

7 days lmao. It's almost like a freelance project, anyways you are not doing it, ask them to pay you for this and then only do it The cheap founder will post on LinkedIn that a candidate asked me to pay for an assignment the next day xD

If you want to hire someone for a particular job, the best way is to give the same specific job with a bit of more difficulty and find the one who does it well. What do you expect?

This is right in all aspects, as they too fear the candidate lies in the interview.

You can check the logical skills thorugh coding machine coding round of just by making one or two components which is enough to asses.
Nobody gives a full blown application with proper mockups and as well as deployment instruction.
Well.. i do not agree with your points.
I beileve that interviews are made to asses to judge a person based on some small task whether he or she is capable or not.

I don't think they will need to judge you with anything after this. Doing this one thing beautifully will land you a job. Plus, you will have a project to show off in the next interview.
That doesn't mean I don't understand your POV. It is just a matter of perspective. I understand yours, just start thinking optimistically. This is just one challenge for which you won't be paid but could get you either a job or learn you didn't do well on creativity and now you have one more project to show off. Or, you just don't have hunger for a job. Look at the market, you aren't alone with capabilities and rigidness. Learn to be flexible with other POV rather than just shrinking in your shoe.

Most of the internships I have landed on were through assignments. So I am definitely not against it. But the recent one I spent complete 5 days then was ghosted for 2 weeks. Then recieved call from HR. In between I had made up my mind that m never gonna for assignments further.

So long story short, do it if it can be in done in 3-4 days. Also dw if it passes deadline, they still consider it mostly. And don't expect too much coz u never know :D

If I see an assignment which would take more than a day of my efforts, I straightup ignore it.
