Hey, firstly welcome to Mumbai. Powai is a very expensive area to be staying in so I’d suggest somewhere in Vikhroli/ Kanjurmarg or Andheri/Chandivali where the rent won’t suck you dry. Commuting from Vikhroli station is fairly easy and cheap (Share auto, 30 bucks per seat). Others living in the area might be able to help better. I too work in Powai but am from Mumbai so can’t guide you as nicely as someone whose not from here. Hope this helps a bit. Cheers 🍻
