Pune -> Bangalore in 45K Salary
He folks, I work at service based company. Due to client requirements I'm being called to Bangalore for on-site opportunity. Should I really move from Pune to Bangalore keeping my 45K Salary into consideration.
Would it be a good idea to accept a job opportunity to shift to Pune given I would be the only Indian in a team that works across US and UK? DSM and meetings would be mostly at night and I would be stretched across 3 different time zones plus no other Indian team members. Bangalore is kinda expensive for my salary rn but Pune Baner side I don't see major differences in rent compared to Bangalore. Currently I've been working in a US based healthcare company since over 3 years.
Yeah its less expensive as compare to bnglr But still u should be at bnglr
Yes, but I'm not getting many offers in Bangalore given the competition and current market conditions
What makes u think that being in Pune will give u better opportunities? The quantity of companies itself is less as compared to B’lore. And u can always try for Pune companies from B’lore.
Baner has cheaper places if u look... Rent can't be higher unless you're comparing wrong kind of localities
If u are bachelor and can deal with such meetings then go for it, u’ll figure out soon whether it is for u or not. But if u r shifting on assumption that u’ll stay long in such setting company then don’t. Culture would be very different for u so take the chance if u can
