Leave policies
Hey I have worked in 2 startups in my careers, In both places leave policies aren't that great. Just wanted to know what are policies in other workplaces
Isn't that just being idiotic, you don't fall sick suddenly, you start having symptoms a day or two before. The fever comes up when the sickness is getting worse. So unless the corporate says take a leave even if you feel slight sickness then sure.
For my team its not required.. they just say i am sick and taking off.. and i dont question even if i know they r not..
Naah no need for such drama. Just take a sick leave on the day you want. It isn't anyone's business to verify
I just mention "will be taking leave today as not well", 🤷🏻♂️ simple as that. U can't technically refuse that.

Me : I am not feeling well and have asked for sick leave. Manager : Okay but is this a genuine sick leave? I was pissed off after I saw this question and What are your views on this guys 😏?
Signs of a toxic work culture. Only an Indian manager can ask such a question.
