Its the flavour of the season because they're doing well.

At the best of times small-caps are not the place to be. It's a murky place with shady operators. So think hard before you put your money in there.

If you need handsfree investing, try a momentum smallcase that uses the smallcap 250 universe to make selections.

Best is to do an SIP with 1/2 small cap funds...Nippon or Quant or Axis...choose anything...not the time for lumpsum though...stay invested and change allocation of smallcaps in your MF portfolio as per your risk appetite

^ Agree, it’s not the best time to enter small caps.

Even if someone is too desperate, enter via Mutual Funds. Nippon India has well performing small cap fund basis historical data.
