Suggestions for intermittent fasting

I feel my gut collapsed due to the foods (recent changes) I consume, whatever. I was thinking to do intermittent fasting for 21 days Can anyone who achieved/participated, suggest me the entire plan, what to look for during the process, output, what worse could happen, what to expect, etc.

I've been fasting a lot especially since I work nights. 16 hrs minimum most days. I eat from 5pm-9pm. I do a fasted workout first thing I wake up and refuel. Definitely have built muscle. I don't think I have lost a lot of weight because I don't do a lot of cardio.

I'd say start with 12 hours and gradually increase it.

Drink plenty of water and take electrolytes too if you're doing a fast for more than 30 hours.

Most importantly, find things to do! If you're bored you'll resort to breaking your fast or sleeping most of the time

You can watch satvic movement YT on intermittent fasting for more details. It’s explained pretty well . Plus you should follow it if you work for long hours sitting with little to no movement.

Umm no. Satvic movement is pseudoscience at best.

Intermittent fasting is pretty effective when you have a sedentary lifestyle.
Try starting with a 12-14 hour fast and then work upwards if it suits your body. Try to maintain the timings atleast 7-8 days consistently before changing the patterns.

Most important thing I have felt: eat your dinner/last meal of the day atleast 3-4 hours before sleeping, otherwise there is a good chance to feel bloated next day.

Stay hyderated, and include low calorie/no calorie beverages around your fasting schedule.
