I am an MBA in Marketing and currently working as a Market Researcher. I want to switch to Product Management. Suggest a good online course which is not too heavy on my pockets or if I should I consider something else? I’m looking to pivot from MR as the pay I’m getting is peanuts here, extra long working hours without any compensation and too slow of growth, monetarily. Help a brother out. TIA.
Consider some of the more practical & smaller cohort based training programmes instead of the mainstream providers who sell on jargons & tools.
Better would still be to transition into a PMM role if you can, else enrol in a cohort offering.
No need for a course. Look for Product Marketing roles. Then transition to Product Management either in same organisation or switch. Learn on the job. Good luck.
My organisation does not have a Product Management division at least in the vertical which I work for. Also I feel I do not yet have the necessary skills to pivot in PM, just have 2 yoe.
My main reason to pursue the online courses like Upraised or Simplilearn is to utilise their Job Assistance. Is it worth it or all are scam given that the Upraised one cost above 2 lakhs?
